In answer, there's a pretty huge disadvantage. You're not threatening the center, and usually whoever controls the center of the board wins the game. Now, for what you should have done, TM: You should have moved QR pawn forward one. That's the standard counter. As a general rule, you should NEVER move the same piece twice during the opening moves of a chess game. (There are, of course, exceptions.
